344 You said you love me so why....
Zi Han’s emotions weren’t right. When you look at his face and his actions one wouldn’t immediately notice that something was wrong. He seemed overly focused like he was on a mission he was very determined to complete.
When he was in the armory (weapons room) earlier he managed to get the sword he had been looking for. It seemed just like everything else in the warship he had full access to everything.
His light brain had been ringing constantly for the past few hours. Ten calls were from his mother, twenty two were from Yi Chen, and fifteen were from grandpa Zi.
“Sir the prime minister’s speech starts in an hour and thirty minutes. You need to be present at least an hour earlier,” said Igneous seriously contemplating whether to reactivate its location so Zi Xingxi could find them.
Something was definitely wrong with the young sir and because his light brain was set up in such a way that Igneous had no permission to read his messages it could guess who sent the videos and what was in the videos. For the past couple of hours, they had been parked a few meters from the entrance of prime minister Ju’s house just watching.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtZi Han repeated one of the videos over and over again. The fire in his eyes grew stronger and stronger filled with bloodlust.
“Iggy have you ever imagined how you would take of the person who facilitated your master’s death,” he asked before biting the nail on his thumb.
Igneous took a very long time to answer and after being silent for so long it finally said, “Officially I am supposed to say arrest the person and send them to jail. But... in truth, I want to cut their body a thousand times and watch them bleed to death while drowning in their own blood.”
“Hahaha, you and I are truly meant to be together.... This man just admitted on video why and how he killed my father. He even called him a cockroach because he just wouldn’t die. Now you tell me whether this man should live a pleasant life in prison while my father lost his life?”
.....
As he said this his emotions intensified so much that one could hear the pain in his voice. His heart was bleeding from the hurt and anger afflicted upon him by this man and for what? For power? For money? What did he gain that was so good that it was worth another man’s life?
“Sir, permission to review the evidence,” asked Iggy, and Zi Han permitted it before he notice some activity outside the home.
When the motorcade came and picked up the prime minister, Zi Han smiled maliciously as a thought flashed through his mind. Why kill him privately as though to preserve his dignity when he publicized his father’s death for all to see? Now Zi Han finally understood why the video of his father’s dead his mother had tried to remove constantly so as not to be re-traumatized kept popping up all the time. It was like a virus that kept reinfesting StarNet. It was all on purpose. It was for this to satisfy his sadism.
“Sir, this,” it said after reviewing and re-reviewing it. This prime minister Ju was one sick bastard.
“Let’s get ourselves a prime minister’s head,” said Zi Han, and the mech left the place it had been camouflaged and appeared at the place where the speech was happening.
Everybody was already there standing properly while waiting for the prime minister to appear.
Zi Han walked over to the podium his expression serious like he wasn’t late. His steps which were well-controlled and composed suddenly faltered when he saw an unexpected face standing at the podium. His heart lurched and his breathing stagnated when their eyes met. Yi Chen had been excused from his duty on account that he was ill but now he was standing in front of him his eyes piercing his soul.
Zi Han tried to calm his breathing as he walked up to the podium and stood a foot or two away from him.
Yi Chen lowered his gaze and swallowed down his tremulous emotions bubbling over. When he woke up he was expecting to be met with Zi Han’s handsome face as he stretched out his hand to cuddle him but that is not what happened.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe woke up to Li Ran’s aggrieved face and his baby gone. Yi Chen seemed to have a bad premonition. That heavy feeling that he had been having lately had been validated. His fear of losing his lover forced him to come to this place when he wasn’t supposed to.
Now that he had seen him Yi Chen lost his patients. He did do something he shouldn’t do in this case that is he took a step back and stood next to Zi Han.
The old commander that was dissatisfied with Zi Han being late humphed and cleared his throat like an old grandpa expressing his dissatisfaction with the two but they both ignored him.
Yi Chen accidentally on purpose brushed the back of Zi Han’s with his but he didn’t expect his hands to be freezing cold. Yi Chen suddenly had the impulse to grab Zi Han’s hands and warm them up but he restrained himself by clenching his fist.
Zi Han felt a stabbing pain in his chest when Yi Chen touched him. His fretted expression suddenly showed cracks and his eyes stung. He looked away trying to restrain his surging emotions when a warm breath grazed his ear as a voice whispered in his, “You said you love me so why.... just... are you okay?”
Yi Chen wanted to say more but this wasn’t the right time no place. He was very nervous and ended up saying so much yet so little.
After a while, he finally said, “Let’s get out of here,” but there was some chaos and loud jeers in the crowd below and from the ones watching on the live broadcast.
Zi Han who was showing some signs of yielding suddenly had an unfathomable expression as he stared at the prime minister waving at people with a joyous expression on his face like he was some innocent victim that had nothing to do with this.
Zi Han moved a step away from Yi Chen his eyes terrifyingly stern like something big was about to go down. At this moment Yi Chen should have put his duty first over his emotions but he knew for a fact that if he does that then he would lose Zi Han completely and he didn’t want that. He would rather die.
