Chapter 673 The Windsor Family Agrees

'Very well, Graham! Ill remember what you did today!" Rowena swore wordlessly as she

looked at the man before her with overwhelming hatred.

She had been married to Graham for so many years, but he'd never treated her kindly.

Now that Jenny had returned, he didn't even treat her like she was his wife anymore. Since

things had come to this, there was no need for her to hold back any longer.

Previously, the Glasses had asked her to gather intel on the Walter family's business

secrets, but she'd refused because she considered herself a member of the Walters. But

now, it seemed that Graham had never thought of her as part of the family at all.

"Let's see how you and your daughter can still be arrogant if the Walter family is gone!"

Rowena exclaimed inwardly.

Graham ignored her. In his opinion, Rowena wouldn't be able to stir up much trouble even

if she tried. He looked at Jolene and said coldly, "The Windsors has called and agreed to

the engagement ceremony on Sunday. As for the wedding day, it'll be decided later."

"Really?" Jolene was so happy she almost jumped for joy. Her wish was about to come

true, and it was easier than expected.

"I'm telling you, after the engagement, you have to behave yourself. If you get involved in

any more trickery, I won't bail you out again, you hear me?" Graham felt that he'd done

everything he could for his daughter. For Jolene's sake, he became the person he once

hated the most. If Jolene still didn't behave herself after this, he would definitely not come

to her rescue.

Jolene nodded hastily. "Dad, I understand. I promise I'll behave." Graham gave a cold snort

and left Walter Castle.

After he left, Jolene went to Rowena and held her hand. "Mom, did you hear that? I'm

about to be engaged to James!"

'Yes, I heard it." Rowena breathed a sigh of relief. She was afraid that Graham wouldn't

help, and if that was the case, Jolene might not have been able to marry into the Windsor

family.

"Jo, you need to be careful. Although you're about to be engaged, remember that

engagement isn't marriage. Before you officially get married to James, we have to be

cautious," Rowena warned. Then, she continued, "We have to make sure that the Windsors

don't change their mind and be careful of people who might try to sabotage us." She

looked up at Jenny's room on the second floor.

Jolene also stared in the same direction and showed an expression of hatred. "Mom, I

understand. No matter what she does now, I'll endure it. After I marry into the Windsors,

I'll settle scores with her."

Right now, she had no support and wasn't a match for Jenny, so she could only endure.

Rowena patted her shoulder and said, "After you marry into the Windsors, you must win

them over. As for the Walters, you can consider it nonexistent."

She'd decided to help her family deal with the Walters. Soon, the Walters might really

disappear. She hinted at it to Jolene.

"Yeah, with the Windsors backing me up, I won't care about the Walters anymore," Jolene

said, no longer concerned about Graham passing the Walters to Jenny.

"Even if Jenny takes over the Walters later on, she'll still be at my mercy after I marry into

the Windsors," Jolene thought.

Meanwhile, Jenny tossed and turned on her bed.

Was there really no way out? Could she only stand by and watch James marry Jolene?

Actually, there was a way out. As long as the Windsors didn't agree to take Jolene in, she

would stop Graham from making a move against the Windsors—they wouldn't become

enemies and could still carry on with the plans to work together.

However, the prerequisite was that the Windsors had to firmly reject the engagement.

Looking at the current situation, the Windsors were more inclined toward marriage

between the two families. Even James seemed to agree to that.

In this case, no matter how hard Jenny tried, she wouldn't be able to change the situation.
