The hours began to pass. Those hours turned into days and those days turned into weeks. The group grew closer to each other. Seeing the same face for days straight was enough to break anyone.
In terms of closeness, Noah made sure to only maintain an average level of it, he couldn't let himself get too close to all of them. Chances were they would be enemies In the future.
Nevertheless, he let himself loose enough to appear fun. And truly he had a great time with them.
The many breaks the group made during their two weeks of travel allowed them to do things outside of simply sitting and watching the regions pass below them.
They engaged in activities like spars. He managed to find out what the marking on the royals did.
His instincts had been accurate again. Their defensive abilities were greatly amplified. So much so that even after multiple hits with his full strength and even execution of the first form. They were left unharmed.
The reality felt surprising. Still, although they could take his hits. Their figures were reduced to rag-dolls. Noah could make them fly across their chosen sparing field.
The tier 4's watched those events, and Noah got popular.
Contrary to his earlier judgment. The royals were actually pretty noble individuals. Gina tried all she could to learn from his battles with Krane.
While Krane found Aiden a great match. They unconsciously got closer. There were times when even Noah found himself in a tough spot.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtUnlike Krane who usually remained unhurt. With enough firepower, Krane could inflict injuries.
The other nobles were cool. Noah had noticed three of them had the sassy bratty behavior he expected from individuals of their status. Nevertheless, he couldn't deny their power and experience.
It was a tad bit annoying to see those individuals have such great control over their abilities.
Bon had barely been able to do anything. His only sparring partner was Madison. But even she preferred the higher leveled experts to him. The man worked himself so he could advance. But it would still take him a while.
Sixteen days had passed since their departure from the Royal City, Elidra. Two days more than expected, but they were right on track anyway.
Noah gazed down at the world below him. The horizon remained beautiful, but he had eyes on the approaching river in the distance.
It was huge,
Scanty forests existed below them as the sunlight made everything visible. Hundreds of miles worth of low mana zones expanded below that rapidly moving group.
The mere presence of the group caused chaos to unfold amongst the lower leveled beast on the ground. While settlements that had seen their passage remained in awe.
It wasn't every time one saw a force capable of ending cities.
The huge river had a wall made directly out of the brown terrain around it. This wall of jagged earth looked artificial and even reminded him of a certain place.
Gazing at the huge body of water spanning who knew how many miles in length, Noah watched with amazement as a thick blue mist enter their line of sight.
No one seemed to be worried by the event, and soon the group entered it.
His skin tingled.
It dawned on Noah and the others that that mist was made out of raw mana. It carried heavy pressure with its presence.
The mist or cloud was large. Spanning a few miles in radius. It was the marking point that indicated that they had reached the rich-with-mana portions of the regions.
Simply incredible.
The group changed formation. A circular setup unfolded in Noah's eyes. Their carriage and the ones belonging to the caretaker and commanders were surrounded by the others.
Three walls of these flying beasts were created and they all moved at a steady speed to not break the formation.
Rumbling reached Noah's ears. A thunderstorm was nearby and it sounded strong.
Shock waves flew out in all directions. Unfortunately, the group remained too sturdy for that. The collective influences of over a hundred tier 4 experts and even a tier 5 expert completely nullified the power in the waves.
Soon flashes of light started to reach their position.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"It would seem we're entering into the eye of the storm." One of the experts present commented. Their heads momentarily turned to him, but soon their focus returned to the outside world.
The air was tense, that moment would determine if their two weeks of travel had been worth it, or not. Truly no one wanted to find out they were being followed by an enemy. It would be too hectic and tense.
The travel through the center of the storm was mainly silent on the insides of the carriages. The outside, however, was filled with the roaring of thunder. It was incredible.
That event reminded Noah of his time during the trials to gain membership into the Divine lightning guild.
The journey was steady. And thanks to the influence of the tier 5 expert, the mist moved to allow full visuals of the entire group.
After what felt like hours. Which were only minutes. Streams of sunlight began to break past the thick blue mist.
A wondrous forest unfolded in their sights at that point.
Things were lush. Even from that distance, Noah could notice the different qualities of the materials that existed there.
The grass was literally greener. The trees were taller and they could already notice big moving figures.
A cacophony of roars reached the sky as the tier five bird unleashed its aura on the world below it.
The event disquieted the forest and soon whiffs of different levels of power reached them. They had reduced their altitude a bit.
'I guess that means no one was trailing us,' Noah wondered even if he sighed. The group moved deeper into the forest. They had a tier 5 beast with them. There really was nothing to fear. Unless of course; something far stronger than the bird and the cultivator was present.
The urge to jump to conclusions threatened to set in. But Noah recalled the other day when Sir Dere had informed them about their plans to stay a bit in the forest. To make certain no one was trailing them.
